Securing high rank in NEET, Sana gives best gift to mother who works as maid to support her
Pulamanthole (Malappuram): Securing 30th rank in Kerala SC category in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2020, Sana gave an incredible gift to her mother who worked as a housemaid in the neighbourhood and as a daily wage labourer.
Hailing from Chemmala Parakkadavu here, Sana could not have given a better gift for her mother. Sana’s mother Sobhana has been working hard to take care of the family and to educate her five daughters after the death of her husband Sreenivasan 10 years ago. She has been working as housemaid ever since.
Chemmala community and Alikkal Kilikkunnukavu temple committee also helped Sana by providing her study materials. Currently, Sana has got admission in Alappuzha Government Medical College. However, she hopes to get admission in Kozhikode medical college in the next list.
Sana had secured A Plus grade in all subjects in SSLC and Plus Two exams. She completed SSLC from Pulamanthole Government Higher Secondary School and Plus Two from Kolathur National Higher Secondary School. Her class teacher Sumesh in Kolathur school also helped her in studies. Sana’s ambition is to complete medical education and become a doctor to help the poor.
