Little Fayis donates Milma's reward to CMDRF
Malappuram: Muhammad Fayis turned a social media star with the viral video of making paper flower. The little boy earned a remuneration of Rs 10,000 from Milma after the firm adapted his dialogue from the video as its tagline.
Now, the 4th standard student turned an epitome of humanity by donating the amount to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund.
On Thursday, Fayis arrived at the Malappuram collectorate and handed over the money to district collector K Gopalakrishnan.
Malappuram Kuzhimanna native Muhammad Fayis donated Rs 10,313 to CMDRF. Soon after the boy’s video went viral, Milma used his dialogue from the video as its tagline. As the one-liner made headlines, Milma rewarded him with a television and Rs 10,000.
The video which featured the innocence of little Fayis motivated many people to overcome failures in life.
"Some people may get it right, some may not. Anyway, it's not a problem for me," said little Fayis in the colloquial Malappuram slang in the video after his paper flower went not as expected.
Muhammad Fayis is the son of Abdul Muneer Sakqafi and Maimuna. He is a student at Kuzhimanna Issathul Islam Higher Secondary School.
“Today, I spent some time with Fayis at the collectorate. I also gifted him with a small token of appreciation. He wants to become a police officer. I wish him all the best in future,” said district collector K Gopalakrishnan.
