Pattambi: Muthuthala native Parameswaran was one of the passengers in the flight which crashed in Karipur airport on August 7. The expat who was under treatment after getting injured in the horrific accident recovered from his injuries and began a new life here on Thursday.
With the blessings of his family and well-wishers, Parameswaran got married to Thrissur Ollukkara native Sisira Vasudevan on Thursday.
Parameswaran is working as a planning engineer in Dubai. His marriage with Sisira was scheduled on May 24. But due to the COVID outbreak, Parameswaran was unable to fly to Kerala and the wedding was postponed to September 10.
Along with Parameswaran, his brother Ravi Shankar, brother’s wife Thara and their daughter Ayana were also injured in the flight crash. The four family members were under treatment.
Though they were undergoing treatment, both families vowed that the wedding should not be cancelled for the second time. So, Azhakath mana, the residence of Parameswaran, turned the wedding venue.
Earlier, the wedding was scheduled at Sisira’s residence in Thrissur. But as Parameswaran's brother Ravi Shankar is unable to travel due to his injuries, both families decided to stage the wedding at Pattambi.
