Kalabhavan starts online art classes amid COVID-19 outbreak
Kochi: Kalabhavan, in association with World Malayalee Federation, has started online art classes amid the COVID pandemic. Classical dance, cinematic dance, classical music, guitar, keyboard, violin, tabla, mrudangam, flute, drums and drawing classes are provided.
Kalabhavan committee claims that this is the largest online art training programme in the world. It is for the first time, such a wide platform is opened for art classes.
Kalabhavan joined hands with World Malayalee Federation is which spread over 156 countries to invite Malayalees around the globe to be a part of the classes.
“In the background of COVID-19 outbreak, stage artistes, art teachers and students are facing a crisis. With the online classes, we aim to resolve all these problems,” said World Malayalee Federation global chairman Prince Pulikunnel and Cochin Kalabhavan secretary KS Prasad.
