International Mother Language Day: students release 1413 manuscripts
Malappuram: Observing the International Mother Language Day on February 21, Wednesday, students and teachers had a unique celebration at Malappuram AUP School. A mass launch of 1413 manuscripts by 1413 editors took place at the school on Wednesday.
Students from first standard to seventh standard released their manuscripts in connection with the event. Each manuscript prepared by each student was unique in its creativity. The manuscripts were released with different title and cover page.
Over 20 works including story, poems, paintings, travelogue and articles were in the book.
A total of 1413 students brushed up their creative skills to prepare the manuscripts.
Malappuram district panchayat vice president Sakeena Pulppadan released the manuscript prepared by the school leader. Following this, all students released their own manuscripts.
Best manuscript will be selected and the editors will be honoured. Language club will organise a literary journey for the best editors in the Upper Primary classes.
Vidyarangam Kala Sahithya Vedi has organised the mass launch of manuscripts at the school.
