Ending days of waiting, the unique Christmas tree made by Class 9 student Alan has sprouted new shoots making it a beautiful sight.
Wayanad Ambalavayal native Alan was the master brain behind the eco-friendly Christmas tree.
To make the tree, he covered a bamboo frame with dirt and sowed foxtail millet (Thina) seeds on it.
Alan watered it using a hand spray every day and the experiment bore fruit finally.
The picture of the first phase of Christmas tree making was shared by Satheesh Kumar on his Facebook page a few days before Christmas.
He had apologised for not waiting to take a picture of the fully flourished tree.
But now he has posted a new picture of the tree with the seeds sprouted making a bright green foliage.
Satheesh Kumar has also said in the post that the picture is shared for everyone who missed it.
