Sooryaprabha on her wedding day

Pazhayannur (Thrissur): Sooryaprabha will not have to go through nightmares any more. She has a loving father and mother and now a better half who supports her in every step. With the help of Pazhayannur police, Sooryaprabha’s life has changed totally.

18-year-old Sooryaprabha hailing from Kondazhi was struggling due to the torture of her mother and stepfather. Her father had abandoned them years ago. When the locals informed the police about the girl’s plight a month back, they took the stepfather into custody. She refused to return home fearing torture.

It was then a childless couple Sivadasan and Nisha arrived at the station to help Sooryaprabha. Earlier, she had worked at their two wheeler shop in Pazhayannur for a few days. Thus Nisha had developed a motherly affection towards her already. The couple took Sooryaprabha with them on the request by Pazhayannur CI J Nizamudheen and SI K G Jayapradeep.

Meanwhile, Thiruvilwamala native Manoj came to know about Sooryaprabha and came forward to marry her. With this, Sivadasan and Nisha arranged her wedding. A carpenter, Sivadasan managed to give Sooryaprabha some gold ornaments according to his capacity. The wedding took place at Kodathoor Bhagavathi temple.
