3 children from Wayanad obtain Guinness record through drawing skills
Wayanad: Three children from Wayanad are among the artists who obtained Guinness record by drawing most number of pictures within an hour and exhibiting the same on Facebook.
A total of 1149 artists from 112 countries were part of the mission and 20 among them were Keralites. The event titled 'I Dare to Dream' was organised by Mayank Vyas and Mahima Gupta. Artist Raj Balram coordinated the artists from Kerala for the achievement.
Among the winners, Joel K Biju is paralysed below the neck and he draws pictures by holding the brush in his mouth. He has won several honours including the state government's award for mouth painting. He is son of Karachal native Biju and Deena.
Another young artist Akhil is talented in drawing portraits. Both his legs are paralysed, but it does not affect his artistic skills. Akhil is son of Ambalavayal native Nelson and Mary.
Ishan O’Brien, a class 1 student and son of Shaidu and Dimple, also was part of the team and obtained the record at a young age.
