Aroor: A two-year-old child’s head was trapped inside a vessel accidentally while playing. After one and a half hours of strenous effort, a group of fire force personnel released the pot. The boy Kannan is son of Aroor native Loknath.
The family tried to release the boy’s head from the pot but in vain. So they contacted the fire force in Aroor. Within four minutes, the fire force staff reached the house from the fire station which is 1.5 km away.
Since the pot is made of indalium, it was too thick to be cut with large iron cutters. With this, they cut the pot using small cutting player. The child’s head was taken out safely without injuring his face or body.
Fire leader P. M. Pavithran, firemen C. Amarjith, C. Sreedas, T. K. Kannan and P. M. Radhakrishnan managed to remove the pot from the child’s head.
