Kochi: The beauty pageant of transgenders ‘Queen of Dhwayah’ organized by Dhwayah Arts and Cultural Society will be held on Monday at CIAL Convention Centre here at 7 pm.
This will be the second fashion show of transgenders conducted by Dhwayah. 16 contestants have already been selected to participate in the show.
Actor Mammotty will be the chief guest of the event. Film stars including Jayasurya, Nadhiya Moidu, Padmapriya, Mamta Mohandas, Amala Paul and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy will also be the guests of the pageant.
The contest has three different rounds to determine the Queen of Dhwayah. The winner will be gifted with a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
Dhwayah is a cultural society for the upliftment and welfare of transgenders. It encourages their talents and skills through different activities.
