Woman tied up with husband in a shed in Kannur; molested for 3 days
Kannur: A Keralite couple from Bangalore was allegedly tied to a shed near Ambayathode and the wife raped for three days. A complaint regarding this was filed with the police. The incident happened between January 16 and 19, on a four-acre land that was registered in the name of the couple. The complaints states that there were five culprits in the incident.
The husband managed to escape on January 19 morning and informed the neighbours about the incident. The culprits escaped from the spot soon after they realised that the husband had escaped. The couple filed a complaint regarding this to the Chief Minister and Iritty DySP soon after the incident.
The couple had purchased 4 acres of land in Ambalathode and entrusted Thottilpalam native, Rojas aka Jishmon, to take care of it. However, when they came to know that Jishmon had a criminal history, they reached Ambalathode on March 16 and asked him to leave the farm. It was then that five people, including Jishmon, took out their knives and threatened them.
Following this, they were tied to two sheds and beaten up. Their ATM cards and mobile phones were seized. The lady also stated in the complaint that Jishmon molested her in the shed.
The complaint also states that Jishmon went to Bengaluru and stole their luxury car. The footage of him leaving in the car has been captured in CCTV. Iritty DySP said that different cases were filed against him in different places.
