Uthra murder: Suraj consulted lawyer before being arrested
Adoor: In connection with the murder of Uthra, her husband and key accused Suraj visited lawyers before getting arrested by the police, it is hinted. He went to the residence of the lawyer at Parakkode and held discussion with him for long hours on the day before he was arrested, as per reports.
Suraj had raised some allegations against the police the other day. He claimed during the evidence collection that the police tried to fabricate evidences and tortured him. All these allegations were raised as advised by the lawyer, it is learnt.
Meanwhile, Suraj's family is continuing attempts to get bail. As the bail plea filed in magistrate court is likely to get rejected, they are moving via high court. The court had sent the accused in police custody for four days in connection with the murder case.
Evidence was collected at the house in Parakkode in Adoor and Enathu the other day. Though the police had decided to check the locker where Uthra's gold was kept, they did not get permission. Evidence can be collected from there only after getting legal permission from the bank headquarters. The police are trying to get the permission for this purpose.
