Uthra murder: Suraj confesses to have killed wife for not being the woman of his dreams
Kollam: In connection with Uthra murder case, key accused and her husband Suraj confessed that he killed her as she could not be the wife he imagined. Suraj revealed this when he was taken for evidence collection in connection with the case registered by the forest department. He also said that he regretted the muder attempt using viper. But Uthra argued with him on May 4 and 5 about their child and this provoked him to murder her using a cobra, he stated.
Meanwhile, the examination by the expert committee that probe into the case was completed. They reached the conclusion that Uthra was murdered using the snake. Earlier, a 6-member committee including officials of various departments had conducted inspection at Uthra's house in Anchal and Suraj's house in Parakkod.
The committee found that the 5-feet long cobra is unlikely to enter the room through window. The snake might have been provoked or hurt in order make it bite Uthra. They also found that the viper would not reach second floor of the house on its own. These findings will be included in the report and will be submitted to Kollam Rural SP in coming days.
