Nedumangad: A newborn baby was found murdered and buried behind a house here. The mother Viji (29) was taken into custody by the police in connection with the incident. The murdered baby was just 3-day- old.
The body of the baby was found buried in the ground by the neighbours. They immediately informed the police about the incident.
Viji stayed with her father and brother after separating from her husband.
“Viji was 9-months pregnant but her belly looked normal since Monday. This caused suspicion and the baby was found buried behind the house in the search that was carried out” a local woman said.
