Marayoor: The statement of the woman makes a significant twist in the youth's suicide in Kanthalloor Bhramaram site. On September 2, the woman who is also a teacher was found unconscious in the car with a cut on the wrist. The dead body of her lover, Nadirsha (30) was found down a cliff. The two lovers had attempted suicide after making a video of their last speech. But the video was sent to the relatives of Nadirsha.
In the statement to police, the woman revealed that Nadirsha forcefully cut her wrist. She initially believed that the video was for fun but as she felt something wrong, she shared the video with Nadirsha’s sister. Irked with this, he forcefully cut her veins in anger.
The woman had met Nadirsha when he came as an assistant during the anniversary celebrations. Later, they fell in love with each other. As belonging to two religions, both did n't disclose their relationship before their family. Nadirsha decided to commit suicide with his lover after his family forced him to get married. He took his lover to the Bhramaram site and recorded their last speech from there.
The woman became unconscious as soon as her veins were cut with a blade.
Nadirsha must have cut his veins before falling from the cliff, says the police. Police suspect him of being boozed. It is reported that he had attempted suicide from Kattappana earlier too.
The police have booked a case against him for attacking the woman, even though he is not alive. The police have doubts about the woman after noticing discrepancies in her statement.
