Man walking to Kerala from Punjab looted in Haryana
New Delhi: A Malayali on returning to Kerala from Punjab on foot, was looted by robbers in Haryana.
The victim, Piravom native Pradeep Radhakrishnan lost all his money and documents and later found shelter at the Youth Congress headquarters in Delhi.
A project manager at a private firm in Punjab, Pradeep started his journey on May 16. He would walk during the day and rest in dabbas during night.
Meanwhile, in Rohtak, a gang of robbers attacked and looted him. However, he continued his journey on foot and reached Delhi. He was staying in a railway station for days without food. Later he took shelter in the Youth Congress office.
As of now, Pradeep has decided to drop the Kerala journey. He is planning to return to Punjab, once his documents are ready.
