Koodathai murder: DGP to expand probe team
Thiruvananthapuram: DGP Loknath Behera stated that the probe team investigating the controversial Koodathai murder case will be expanded.
“The case is very challenging. The best investigating officials will be appointed to probe the case. I have already discussed the matter with SP KG Simon who leads the probe team,” said DGP.
He also noted that the probe team will investigate on how Jolly got cyanide to kill the family members.
“People who are related to the case will be interrogated directly and indirectly. As the murders were committed many years ago, scientific evidence will be crucial in this case. Hence, scientific experts will be included in the probe team to collect evidence," said Loknath Behera.
Talking to the media, DGP stated that the DNA test will be done in USA to collect evidence.
