Karakonam murder: Accused confesses he married 51-yr-old Shakha to grab her wealth
Thiruvananthapuram: Arun, the man who was booked over charges of killing his wife, has confessed that he agreed to marry without bothering about the age difference mainly eyeing her wealth. The 51-year-old woman named Shakha, a native of Karakonam, was allegedly electrocuted by her husband 26-year-old Arun.
Police have informed that further formalities including post-mortem related to the case will be carried out on Sunday. In his statement to police, Arun revealed that his family is unaware of his marriage with Shakha.
“Only few of my friends knew about the marriage. They used to mock me for marrying an aged woman. Sakha’s demand to have a baby also irritated me a lot,” Arun told police.
