Jolly had four reasons to murder Roy, says police
Kozhikode: Police mentioned four reasons why Jolly, the main accused in the Koodathai murder case, killed her former husband Roy Thomas.
The reasons were mentioned in the request seeking custody of Jolly which the police submitted at the Thamarassery first class judicial magistrate court.
According to police, Roy’s drinking habit, superstition, Roy opposing Jolly’s extra-marital affairs and Jolly’s desire to marry someone with a permanent job were the reasons why Jolly murdered her former husband.
The court gave police six-day custody of all three accused including Jolly. The police had sought 15-day custody of the accused. The next hearing of the case will be held on October 16. Bail applications of the accused will also be considered on the same day.
