Johnson used Roy's phone number after his death, says police
Kozhikode: Investigations have revealed that the mobile phone number of Roy Thomas, former husband of main accused in the Koodathai murder case Jolly, was used by BSNL employee Johnson. Roy’s phone number was used by Johnson after the former’s death.
Jolly had murdered Roy Thomas by mixing cyanide in his food. The investigating officers also found that Johnson misused his position as a BSNL employee to register Roy’s number to his name. Moreover, Jolly was using the sim card that was taken in Johnson’s name.
Investigations had revealed that both Jolly and Johnson shared a close friendship. They used to go on vacations frequently. Jolly had gone to Coimbatore to meet Johnson.
