Kasaragod: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials interrogated seven Malayalis who were deported from UAE over the alleged links with IS. The seven are natives of Thrikaripur and Padanna here.
NIA summoned them to Kochi office and seized their documents including passport.
According to reports, the UAE police arrested the seven people over alleged links with Kasaragod natives who joined IS. After being released from the UAE jail, they were deported to Kerala.
Soon after this, police and Intelligence Bureau have collected details of the seven people.
Following this, NIA summoned them for interrogation at Kochi office. Further details of the interrogation are not available.
