I committed all murders, confesses Jolly; probe to continue
Vadakara: Jolly, who was arrested for the murder of Roy Thomas - one of the six victims of a family who were murdered within a span of 14 years – has confessed to the crime.
Investigating official Vadakara Rural SP K G Simon said that the six murders were committed by slow poisoning through food. He said that Jolly has confessed to all crimes.
The reason for Roy Thomas’ death is traces of cyanide found in his blood. This was confirmed after many discussions with concerned experts, SP said.
All six died of cyanide poisoning through food. Everyone had collapsed and died after consuming food. This confirmed poisoning.
Annamma, the first victim had shown similar symptoms earlier and was taken to a private hospital in Kozhikode. After many tests she was discharged, but doctors couldn’t find the reason. Simon said that she later died of the same symptoms.
Jolly has given statement that she also tried to kill Roy’s sister. Also, it can’t be revealed now, whether there are more victims. It can only be said that it is for good that she was nabbed at least now, further said SP.
Simon also said that it can’t be confirmed how much of the evidences can be obtained from exhuming the bodies.
