Kochi: Two kilogram of gold worth Rs 84 lakh was seized at the Cochin International Airport here on Tuesday. The gold in form of a mixture was seized from a passenger arrived from Abu Dhabi.
In the past few days smuggled gold was seized from Karipur International Airport and Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.
This comes at a time the state is reeling under huge controversy relating to the gold smuggling in form of diplomatic baggage at Thiruvananthapuram airport.
