Kochi: The three-year-old boy who succumbed to injuries after being assaulted by his mother in Aluva, has left behind much mysteries behind his death. Facts about his parents, Jharkhand native mother and Bengal native father, remain totally baffled.
The other state couple along with their alleged kid started living at Kalamassery less than 20 days ago. House was taken in rent by Shajith Khan, the father of the deceased kid and introduced himself to the house owner as a driver. In fact, he is a crane operator at a private institution in Kalamassery. Monthly rent for the house is Rs 6000. He earns Rs 35,000 a month as salary, said police. Though he said his wife and kid were with him, I hadn’t seen the kid any time, said house owner.
Neighbours at the area also hadn’t seen a child or heard a cry of a child from the house. Only Shajith Khan was seen outside the house and wife was seen outdoors rarely. Neighbours came to know about the child only when police arrived the spot.
