Balabhaskar’s death: Court grants permission for polygraph test
Thiruvananthapuram: The court has granted permission to conduct a polygraph test on four people in connection with the investigation into the death of violinist Balabhaskar. Driver Arjun, Kalabhavan Soby Geroge, Balabhaskar's friends and accused in gold smuggling case Vishnu Somasundaram and Prakasan Thampi will be subjected to the polygraph test.
The four people have informed the court that they are ready for the test. Thiruvananthapuram CJM court has issued summons to the four after CBI demanded polygraph test.
Soby George in his statement to the probe team revealed that a group of people attacked Balabhaskar’s car before the accident and alleged that the violinist was killed. He also told the officials that he witnessed the attack against Balabhaskar’s car.
Balabahaskar’s driver Arjun in his statement to the probe team asserted that Balabhaskar was behind the wheels when the accident took place. However, Balabhaskar’s wife Lakshmi and other witnesses claimed that Arjun was driving the car during the accident.
