Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) has invited applications for admission to the Full Time/Part-Time Ph.D Programs for the winter season 2021-22.
Ph.D. Programme is offered only to female candidates in the areas of Computer Science, Information technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Mechanical and selected allied areas in Engineering, Applied Sciences and Humanities.
Eligibility: (i) Engineering: M.E./M.Tech. Degree in the relevant discipline (ii)Computer Application: MCA (iii) Sciences: Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline (iv) Humanities: Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline. There are stipulations on the marks to be secured in the qualifying examination as well as on the Degree obtained /subjects to be studied at the UG level. Selection: Admission shall be on the basis of Research Aptitude Test (RAT) followed by interview. RAT shall consist of 50% questions from Research Methodology and 50% from the specific subject. Candidate has to score 50% marks (45% SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled (PD) category) to qualify in RAT.
Those who have qualified GATE/NET will be exempted from RAT.

Scholarships are available for all full time selected candidates. There are few seats available for IGDTUW JRFs. Research awards are given for outstanding research work.
