Centre for Philosophical Counselling and Research (CPCR), Department of Philosophy, University of Kerala, Kariavattom Campus, Kariavttom.P.O. Thiruvananthapuram-695581, has invited applications for admission to the PG Diploma Course in Philosophical Counselling, 2021-22.

Philosophical Counselling or Philosophical Practice is a contemporary movement in practical philosophy. Philosophical counsellors help people in distress or confusion to evaluate worldviews of clients and reorient their emotional dispositions without applying diagnostic labels or imposing clinical treatment Programme. The course will have Practical sessions also.

There are 30 seats for the course of 1 year (2 semesters) duration. Applicants should hold Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Preference will be given to Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology and Science Graduates.

Application fee is Rs. 100/-.

Filled up application along with copy of the qualifying degree should reach the Director, Centre for Philosophical Counselling and Research, University of Kerala, Kariavattom Campus, Kariavttom.P.O. Thiruvananthapuram-695581, directly or by post by 30 th December 2021.

The Course will be online/offline as per the directions of the University maintainingstrict Covid protocol.
