Opportunities at Germany: NORKA Roots invites application from Malayali nurses

Thiruvananthapuram: Based on the ‘Triple Win’ scheme to recruit Keralite nurses to Germany, applications have been invited for the first phase of recruitment. An MoU was signed between NORKA Roots (Department of Non Resident Keralite's Affairs) and German Federal Employment Agency as part of the scheme. Currently, the individuals who have B1 level qualification in German language and those holding degree or diploma in nursing can apply for the fast track recruitment.

In order to work as a registered nurse in Germany, B2 level qualification in German language and licensing exam are to be passed. As per ‘Triple Win’ scheme, free training will be provided for B2 level qualification and licensing exam. In the meantime, the recruit could work as caregiver in hospitals or care homes with an assured salary of upto €2,300 at least.

The selection will be directly done by the employer through online or face-to-face interview. The decision of recruitment will be taken by the employer. Qualified individuals below the age of 45 can apply.

The last date for submission of the application is December 24. The applications need to be send through E-mail only. The ID for sending applications is rcrtment.norka@kerala.gov.in.

Meanwhile, NORKA Roots CEO said that the applications for second phase of recruitment will be invited soon where individuals will also receive training for B1 level qualification.
