IIST Thiruvananthapuram
Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for admission to the IIST Part-time Ph.D. Programme-January 2022, for Master’s Degree holders who are employees of DOS/ISRO.
Admission to the Ph.D Programme is offered in (i) Aerospace Engineering (ii) Avionics (iii) Chemistry (iv) Earth & Space Sciences (v) Humanities (vi) Mathematics (vii) Physics.
The IIST Part-time Ph.D. Program is open to Scientists/Engineers, Faculty Members working in any of the Centres/Units of ISRO/DoS including employees of IIST.
Applicant should be an Indian citizen and should be below 48 years as on December 10, 2021. Applicant should hold M.Tech/M.Sc/Master of Science/Master of Humanities or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.50 out of 10.
Part-time Ph.D. Scholars are not eligible for any Research Fellowship in addition to their applicable emoluments as ISRO/DoS employees.

The printout of the filled in online application form, may be sent through proper channel to ‘Deputy Registrar(Academics), Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Valiamala PO, Thiruvananthapuram- 695 547’ along with the self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials to reach latest by December 15, 2021.
