The accused involved in a drug smuggling case pleaded innocence and requested bail. But the Delhi HC observed that he had left a deadly impact on the society by involving in drug smuggling. Hence the question of bail does not arise as the prosecution has come out with evidence regarding his underworld activities. The HC dismissed the anticipatory bail petition of Rana Bharosa.
The court said that he has been indulging in illegal smuggling of narcotics and left a vicious influence on the youngsters. Such activities have a deadly impact on the society and younger generations. They are so disastrous. The HC took a firm stand and said there is no question of granting bail.
The court observed said though the accused pleaded innocence it is difficult to go by that looking at the evidence.
He has been selling drugs going from one place to another, meeting many youngsters and attracting them to his fold. He amassed money by illegal trafficking, the court said.
