Thousands of migrant labourers at Payippad near Changanassery have taken out protest on road demanding vehicle for them to return to their homeland. Around 11 am on Sunday, a large number of protesters, assembled on road here violating the lockdown norms. Though police asked them to disperse, they continued to protest resulting in lathi charge.
