Darbar review: Thalaivar mesmerizes fans

Director Murugadoss who is a Rajini fan has taken effort to bring the Rajinikanth in the 90’s before the audience.

Superstar Rajinikanth is once again back to give goosebumps to his huge number of fans with another big entertainer. His latest movie ‘Darbar’ directed by hit maker AR Murugadoss was released on Thursday.

A big team including Bollywood star Suniel Shetty, lady superstar Nayanthara, cinematographer Santhosh Sivan, stunt choreographer Peter Hain, music director Anirudh Ravichander and noted film editor Sreekar Prasad are coordinated in the movie.

'Darba'r is a special movie as the Thalaivar is playing the role of a cop after a long time.

'Darbar' portrays a complete police story which took place in Mumbai. Rajinikanth plays the role of commissioner Aadithya Arunachalam. The story makes a turning point when Aadithya vows up to clear the drug mafia from the city. His journey with the mission makes the story more interesting.

Rajinikanth who is nicknamed as ‘Style Mannan’ rules over the movie. His stylish dance moves and power packed action sequences will be a visual treat for his fans.

The romance sequences with Nayanthara and dance with transgender people were widely appreciated by the audience. The emotional bond between the father and daughter in the climax makes the audience to get more attached with the movie.

Suniel Shetty plays the role of a notorious criminal in the movie. Mollywood actor Nivedha Thomas also played a pivotal role in the movie.

The punch dialogues which are the life of Thalivar’s movies are seen aplenty in ‘Darbar’.

‘Darbar’ is produced under the banner of Lyca Productions. Grihalakshmi productions and SCube Films are distributing the movie in Kerala.
