Actor Mohanlal has expressed condolences over the demise of actor-cum-politician Innocent (75) and said that his mind still wanted to believe that he was not gone.
Taking to Facebook, Mohanlal wrote, “What should I say my Innocent… I don't know how to put it in words, the sadness of your separation, who innocently spread laughter, love and comfort to the whole world just like that name, who held those who were with him like a brother, and stood by them no matter what.”
“My mind still tells me to believe that you’re not gone. Every moment, my Innocent will be with me forever with that innocent smile, love and rebuke. Wherever you are, you will always be there for me,” he added.
Meanwhile, numerous celebrities and political leaders, including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, condoled the actor’s death.
Innocent breathed his last on Sunday while undergoing treatment for cancer related complications at VPS Lakeshore Hospital in Kochi. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at St Thomas Cathedral, Irinjalakuda.
