TV serial actor Sabarinath passes away

The actor died after suffering a heart attack on Thursday. He collapsed near his home in Aruvikkara while he was playing Badminton.

Thiruvananthapuram: Popular Malayalam TV serial actor Sabarinath (49) passed away on Thursday. He gained recognition after acting in Malayalam TV serial ‘Swami Ayyappan’. The actor died after suffering heart attack on Thursday night. He collapsed near his home in Aruvikkara while playing badminton. Even though he was quickly taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved.

Sabarinath has been active in the Television field for the past 15 years. He played important roles in serials such as ‘Padatha Paingili’, ‘Sagaram Sakshi’, ‘Pranayini’ among others. “Nilavilakku’ which started shooting recently was his latest work. He was also one of the producers of ‘Sagaram Sakshi’ serial.

He is survived by his wife Santhi, who is working in Chovvara King Shiva Ayurveda center and children Bhagya S Nath, Bhoomika S Nath. He is son of late G Raveendran Nair and P Thankamani. Serial stars Kishore Sathya, Sajan Soorya, Fasal Rafi, Uma Nair and Sarath reached the hospital on hearing about the death.
