Mollywood star Tovino Thomas has surprised his fans by sharing pics of his upcoming movie ‘Adrisya Jalakangal’ directed by Dr Biju. The pics featured the actor in a never-seen-before avatar.
After playing a stylish role in ‘Thallumala’, Tovino looked completely unrecognizable in this upcoming movie. He had a complete makeover for the character of a village lad with a dark brown skin tone and a simple shirt and trousers.
The actor who is known for trying different hairstyles also kept an ordinary hairdo for the role.
Unveiling the look in ‘Adrisya Jalakangal’, the actor penned an emotional note on the project.
“So glad to be giving life to @dr_biju_official ‘s nameless young man, in ‘Adrishya Jalakangal’,my very first with him rooted in surrealism that represents a zillion nameless ones around us. Have come together with @ellanar_films and @mythriofficial to co-produce a meaningful movie and a socially driven message that will nudge your hearts and make you ponder as to why… where to and what for. Holding close to my being, the phenomenal cast and crew of ‘ @adrishyajalakangal ’, for coming together to take the unconventional journey and contributing to molding something worthwhile,” wrote Tovino.
Dr Biju alias Biju Damodaran is a recipient of three national film awards.
Tovino will be next seen in ‘Vazhakk’, ‘2018’, ‘Neelavelicham’, ‘Identity’, ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ and ‘Empuraan’.
