Mollywood actor Tovino Thomas has declared that he will turn volunteer for the government activities to counter the COVID-19 outbreak. In an interview with Club FM, Tovino stated that many actors in Mollywood have registered as volunteers for the coronavirus preventive activities by the government.
“The social voluntary group aims to support health workers and awareness programmes of the government. As I belong in the age group between 21 and 44, I registered to volunteer in the group. Last day, over 3,000 people registered to volunteer for the force. Among the volunteers, around 1,465 people have expressed willingness to turn bystanders for the patients at isolation wards,” said Tovino Thomas.
During the floods also, Tovino was active in the rebuild Kerala mission.
