Shine Tom Chacko

Actor Shine Tom Chacko, who always grabs headlines with his controversial statements in press conferences, came up with heart-warming words this time. Shine said he will not reject movies citing lower remuneration. Many people were willing to do jobs without getting paid during the period of Covid.

“I thought that no one will offer me a movie when I was in jail. For me, getting an opportunity to do a character in a movie itself is a great thing,” Shine said.

During the pandemic time, many took a stand to work without receiving payments. Shine said that acting is the only job he knows. He also spoke about his experience in working with Mammootty.

“Many actors will opt to roam around the world soon after finishing one or three movies. But, Mammookka travels from one shooting set to the other. He still acts because of his unquenchable desire for acting. During the shooting of the film ‘Unda’, Khalid Rahman called Mammootty and told him to proceed for shooting when the latter was having food. Immediately, Mammootty stopped his meal and left," said Shine.
