Kochi: Actor Shammy Thilakan said that those who were angry at his father are behind the move against him. He was responding to the media over the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) general body decision to take action against him for 'indiscipline'.
He also claimed that several actors, including Mammootty, stood against the decision in the meeting. Shammy alleged that he was not informed about today's general body meeting and his arguments were not heard by the committee.
The AMMA officer bearers said the general body members were in general of the view that action must be taken against him. The executive committee will hear Shammy and decide on further actions, they said in the press meet held after the meeting.
"The organisation was set up with my money as well. I paid for the letterhead. Let them send the expulsion letter in that letterpad. I will respond then," Shammy added.
