Actor Unni Mukundan has come to the fore with an explanation over his recent verbal spat in connection with his latest release ‘Malikappuram’, wherein he misbehaved with a YouTuber who criticised him.
Speaking at an event in Kannur, Unni said, “I do have objections about the way I spoke to him. However, I have no regrets about the things I said. If they say bad things about my father, mother and the child who acted alongside me, then I will react again.”
“Even if I am thrown out from movies because of this, I’ll gladly leave,” said the actor and added that he slept well on the night of the incident.
Lately, Unni Mukundan had courted controversy after an audio clip of his abusive conversation with the YouTuber went viral on social media.
‘Malikappuram’, directed by debutant Vishnu Sasi Shankar, is in cinemas now.
