Shine Tom Chacko, Vijay in movie 'Beast'
Comments against Shine Tom Chacko's remarks about the movie ‘Beast’ flooded the social media. During an interview, Shine said that he hasn't seen the movie yet in which he had played the role of a terrorist.
Responding to the memes on the movie, Shine said they were very good, unlike the movie itself. “Even though the movie was not good enough, the trolls were fine,” said Shine.
He added that Vijay’s ‘Pokkiri’ was a better one than 'Beast'. Shine condemned the movie’s script which made the protagonist kill all the terrorists himself. He also said that the scene in which Vijay rescues the character played by Shine was illogical.
Following this, several social media users, mostly Vijay fans, slammed the statements of Shine. Many of them questioned why Shine had decided to act on the movie after coming across the script. “After receiving a hefty salary, commenting that he didn't even watch the movie he acted on is pathetic,” posted a user.
‘Beast’ was released on April 13, 2022, and was the Tamil debut of Shine Tom Chacko. The major characters of the movie were played by Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Serlvaraghavan and VTV Ganesh. Though the movie was a commercial success, it received mixed responses from the viewers.
