Most Malayalees identify Biju Menon as an actor, who has played numerous roles in more than 50 movies. Little did fans know about the actor’s sports ventures during his college days.
However, now, news about the star's skill sets are out on social media, all thanks to cricketer Sanju Samson.
Taking to Instagram, Sanju on Monday shared an old picture of Biju Menon’s identity card, designated as a registered player at the Trichur District Cricket Association.
The player captioned it, “Our Super senior.” Sanju has also tagged Biju Menon in his story.
Soon after, the news went viral with many Biju Menon fans sharing pictures of him playing cricket in the movie ‘Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu’.
Meanwhile, the actor was last seen in ‘Thankam’ directed by debutant Saheed Arafath. The film also stars Vineeth Sreenivasan, Aparna Balamurali, Girish Kulkarni among others.
‘Thankam' has been penned by national-award winning Syam Pushkaran, who had earlier scripted the much-acclaimed 'Maheshinte Prathikaram', 'Kumbalangi Nights' and 'JOJI'.
