Kalpetta: Actor Kelu (90), popular for his role in 'Salt N Pepper' passed away due to age-related ailments. He played the role of 'mooppan', the tribal chief in the film.
He was a member of Chennilara Kurichiya family.
Kelu has also acted in 'Pazhassiraja', 'Unda', and 'Black Coffee'.
He is survived by his wife Pushpa, children Rajan, Mani and Rama. The funeral will be held on Wednesday evening at his residence.
