Director MA Nishad has urged Tini Tom to come forward and reveal the name of the actor who lost his teeth due to the use of synthetic drugs. According to Nishad, even if Tini Tom is not willing to disclose the name publicly, he should at least provide the information to the officials concerned.
Tini had recently made comments about drug use in the film industry. During the opening ceremony of the Kerala University youth festival, he claimed to have seen an actor whose teeth had started crumbling due to drug addiction. Some people believe he acts well when he is high on drugs, he stated.
Responding to Tini’s comments, Nishad has called on him to cooperate with the authorities and provide any evidence he may have to the Excise Department. He stressed the importance of raising an issue based on facts and not making unsubstantiated claims.
Nishad also called for any information regarding drug users in the film industry to be handed over to the police, and criticised people for making statements without providing concrete evidence.
