Priya Prakash Varrier, who became a celebrity overnight thanks to an iconic wink scene from her debut film ‘Oru Adaar Love’, is now making headlines yet again after her remarks in a recent interview went viral.
While conversing with actor-cum-anchor Pearle Maaney in the her talkshow, Priya Varrier said that the wink scene was her own input and not the idea of the director.
However, soon after the young actor’s remarks garnered attention on social media, the film’s director Omar Lulu responded to the comment by sharing a video on social media.
Taking to Facebook, Lulu posted a video clip of Priya’s latest interview clubbed with another old interview in which she is saying that she did the wink as per Lulu’s instructions.
In another post, the director shared the picture of a bottle of 'Valiya Chandanaadi" oil and wrote in caption, “Dedicating this to those who came through my film but later lost their memories.”
‘Oru Adaar Love’, starring Priya Varrier, Roshan, Noorin Shereef among others, hit the theatres in 2019.
