Prithviraj, Tovino, their kids get surprise gift from cricketer Sanju Samson

Mollywood stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and their kids have received a surprise gift from Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson. Representing the IPL team, Sanju Samson, who hails from Kerala, sent a gift hamper and team jerseys to the stars and their kids.

Prithvi and Tovino took to their social media pages and shared the happiness in receiving the special gift.

Prithviraj shared pics of gifts which included personalised jerseys. The jerseys carried the names of Prithviraj and his daughter Ally.

“Thank you @imsanjusamson and @rajasthanroyals for the hamper and the jerseys! Ally and I will be cheering! captaining the franchise is a huge source of happiness and pride for all of us! Looking forward to more of our chats on life and cricket!,’ wrote Prithviraj sharing the pics.

Tovino, his daughter Izza and son Tahaan also received the team’s jerseys carrying their names. Sharing the pics of the gifts, Tovino expressed gratitude to Sanju Samson and wished good luck to his team.

“Now I get the Royal feel! Whenever possible I used to follow @rajasthanroyals for the very reason we all Keralites do - the macho man and bro @imsanjusamson . Thanks brother, for the jersey. May the Royals fly high under your captiancy. You make us all proud. Lots of love and good luck. I sure know you have got what it takes. Now bring it on..!!,” Tovino penned.

On the work front, Prithviraj is currently shooting for Mohanlal’s directorial debut ‘Barroz: The Guardian of D’ Gama’s Treasure’. His upcoming movies include ‘Aadujeevitham’, ‘Jana Gana Mana’, ‘Cold Case’, ‘Bhramam’ and ‘Kuruthi’.

Tovino was last seen in ‘Kala’. He will be next seen in ‘Kaanekkaane’, ‘Naaradan’, ‘Minnal Murali’ and ‘Kurup’.
