Mohanlal’s Barroz to resume shooting after pandemic break

The 13-year-old Lidiyan is the music composer of the movie.


Actor Mohanlal’s directorial debut ‘Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure’ will resume the shooting on Sunday after the halt due to pandemic outbreak. Mohanlal informed this through his social media handle while sharing a character sketch designed by Sethu Sivanandan.

Barroz is a ghost who look after the treasures of Vasco da Gama and Mohanlal appears in the title role. The theme of the film is centred on Barroz. Goa is the main location of the film.

There were reports that the pandemic break had affected continuity of the movie. Mohanlal's film is based on the story of Jijo Punnoos, who directed 'My Dear Kuttichathan', India's first 3D film.

Antony Perumbavoor produces the movie under the banner of ‘Aashirvad Cinemas’. Santhosh Sivan is the cinematographer. Actor Prithviraj appears in one of the main roles in the movie. 13-year-old Lidiyan is the music composer of the movie.
