Actor Mohanlal praised the Prime Minister's radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat' for showcasing the lives of personalities from various fields such as politics, arts, culture, sports, environment, women's empowerment, and festivals. He commended the programme for bringing to light tales of unconditional love and care that can illuminate our lives.
The 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio show will be aired live at 11 am on April 30. The programme will be broadcast in the United Nations Trusteeship Council Chamber.
Mohanlal noted that in one episode of 'Mann Ki Baat,' the Prime Minister highlighted the sanitation works in Sabarimala temple and emphasized how such services are a form of worship. In another episode, he introduced Rajappan Sahib, a paraplegic man who collects plastic bottles from Vembanad lake in an effort to make the backwaters plastic-free. Mohanlal also mentioned that Malayalis felt proud when the PM shared the story of the Kenyan Prime Minister's daughter, who regained her vision through Ayurvedic treatment, in a different episode.
Mohanlal said that the PM’s programme discussed and appreciated the extraordinary stories of commoners through the radio programme.
