Producers of Jayasurya-starrer ‘Vellam’ team have donated fund to the Tablet challenge launched by MP Hibi Eden to help students who are unable to attend online classes.
Ranjith Manambrakkattil, one of the producers under Friendly Productions and project designer Badushah visited MP Hibi Eden and handed over a cheque to the programme.
Vellam will be directed by Prajesh Sen. Samyutha Menon will play the female lead. Jose Kutti Madathil, Yadu Krishna and Ranjith Manabrakkattil will produce the movie.
As online classes commenced for studnets amid coronavirus outbreak, many studnets are unable to atttend it due to the lack of facilities like television, computer or smartphone at home. Observing this, many celebrities including actors Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Unni Mukundan and others had donated electronic devices to poor students.
