Thiruvananthapuram: Actor-director Anurag Kashyap said that he will not back off from expressing his opinion even if his films do not make much money in the theatres.

Kashyap said most of his movies were not financially successful. But they got good recognition internationally. He considers it as a support for his political position. Kashyap made the comments while interacting with the delegates of the IFFK.

India has a regressive view on sex and violence in movies unlike world cinema, he said. Kashyap added that he focuses on art and naturality in his films.
