South’s lady superstar Nayanthara always impressed her fans with her stunning looks in each movie. ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, ‘Immaikkaa Nodigal’, ‘Viswasam’, ‘Aram’, 'Dora' like most of her movies featured her in different looks. In an interview with DD Neelakandan, the actress opened up about the secret behind following a particular style throughout a movie.
The ‘Nizhal’ actress revealed that she consciously chooses a style for a character.
“ I think, choosing a particular hairstyle, makeup and outfit will define the character in a better way. If the audience sees my photo, they can easily identify the movie,” explained Nayanthara.
She also opened up about the importance of the appearance of a character in movies.
According to Nayanthara, commercial movies will always demand a stylish appearance.
“Recently, an actress commented that I had worn makeup and my hair was perfectly combed even in a hospital scene. I don’t think we should act without combing hair or giving a shabby look while acting in a hospital scene. There will be people to take care of us in the hospital. We should give the appearance as the movie demands,” she pointed out snubbing the criticism of actress Malavika Mohanan without mentioning her name.
Nayanthara will be seen in the role of a 15-year-old girl’s mother in her latest movie ‘Connect’. Set in the background of the pandemic, the horror thriller directed by Ashwin Saravanan will feature Anupam Kher, Vinay and Sathyaraj in lead roles.
